Product Truth

Measurements enrich rankings after a product identity exists. They do not decide catalog existence. Stock state belongs on offers, not on whether a product exists.

Ranking Independence

Retailer links may be affiliate links. Affiliate relationships never affect scores, ranking order, product inclusion, or offer ordering.

Source Hierarchy

For product existence and availability, AudioList prefers brand stores, authorized retailers, target-market retailers, curated official marketplace stores, and direct storefront/API data. For specs, AudioList prefers manufacturer pages, retailer pages, manuals, datasheets, and carefully reviewed scraper extraction.

Canonical Identity

AudioList collapses color, tips, filters, switches, EQ presets, ANC states, pads, cables, samples, reviewer units, and measurement variants to the parent purchasable device unless there is a distinct purchasable SKU.
